I have been abducted by aliens, says Japan's first lady -
Asia, World - The Independent: "Miyuki Hatoyama, wife of Japan's Prime Minister-elect, Yukio Hatoyama, is a lifestyle guru, a macrobiotics enthusiast, an author of cookery books, a retired actress, a divorcee, and a fearless clothes horse for garments of her own creation, including a skirt made from Hawaiian coffee sacks. But there is more, much more. She has travelled to the planet Venus. And she was once abducted by aliens."

I'm sure The Cap'n will be thrilled to hear she knew Tommy Cruise in a past life - when he was Japanese - and hopes to make a movie with him.
Jeff
If she's been to Venus and came back alive, that's pretty remarkable since the surface of Venus is hot enough to melt lead.
I suppose Michelle is filled with Venus-envy.
Richard wins. Japan loses. Alien soul-abducting UFOs apparently take Japanese ex-dancers to Seattle and call it Venus.
The previous most important centrist party in Japan, Komeito, was built up around a cult. Guess that tradition is alive and well.
Well, Cruise presumably does believe in multiple-life reincarnation. As someone deeply in need of a haircut myself, their hair in that old photo alone might well be considered a warning.
