| Reuters: "LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment are breathing new life into 'Bride of Frankenstein.'
The companies are in talks with Neil Burger to write and direct their long-stirring remake of the 1935 monster movie. Burger, who would pen the script with writing partner Dirk Wittenborn, wrote and directed 'The Illusionist,' the 2006 Edward Norton magician mystery."

I finally got around to watching Kenneth Branagh's version which billed itself as being faithful to the Mary Shelley novel. It wasn't. Not even close. The original with Boris Karloff, while maybe varying further from her story, was much closer in spirit. Someone could make a great movie if they just sticked to Shelley's original novel.
Lemme guess - Paris as the Bride?
Johnny Depp in a dual role as the doc and the monster?
Am I close?
Or is it going to be Nic Cage as the doctor, Adam Sandler as Igor, and Madonna/Mariah Carey as the bride?
