Ohio Leads the Way

WTTE FOX 28 - Ohio News: "TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) -- Some people in Ohio complain they received $25 parking tickets last week when their vehicles were parked in their own driveways.

Toledo Mayor Carty Finkbeiner defends the citations, saying they were issued under a city law against parking on unpaved surfaces -- including gravel driveways."

I got a speeding ticket in the mail which was for going too fast on a street I never got within five miles of on the day in question, and which I hadn't actually driven on in over six months.

The City of Portland defends the citation on the grounds I should just shut up.

"'Shut up,' he explained."

Obviously the city of Portland admires Ring Lardner.

We got a $45 charge on our VISA for mistakenly writing a check that was twenty cents too little on a two thousand dollar bill. Any way to make money is now fair game.

I would remind the mayor of Toledo he is subject to recall.
