Frog Update

Devoted readers of the blog will recall the tree frog that took up residence in a hanging basket on our front porch back in June, and no doubt many of you wonder if the frog is still around. Yes, it is, and here's a phot from last night to prove it. I don't how well the froggie will weather tonight's cold temperatures, but for now it seems to be doing just fine.

That frog is so cute! It's amazing how the frog decided to come back and be there for the night. If I were a frog, that would be a good place to stay for a while. You're very lucky to have a frog decide to come to your house, not to many frogs do that.THIS FROG IS THE CUTEST FROG IN THE WORLD!!!!
Sincerly,
Sasha

We've grown quite fond of the frog over the last few months. I hope he survives this cold weather we're having.

Hey, Bill, what's my daughter doing on your website this time of the morning, huh? - Lawrence

P. S. Yeah, it's a cute frog and all. So, by the way, what's my daughter doing on your website this time of the morning, anyway?

P. S. S. Just kidding. But . . . my daughter's on your website at 9:37 A.M., Bill . . .

Your daughter is looking for good, clean family entertainment.

Yeah, see, this is the kind of thing that makes me create my own account.

Shoulda known, you being one of Lansdale's friends and all. :)

No, seriously, I'm just being adolescent.

This is a fairy tale frog. We have three frogs of various elements on our back porch and would love to have the real thing. I'll try to post a picture some time of the fairy tale moth - you have to see it to believe it - that visited our house and stayed about three days. It was pure white and had green ribbons descending from its body and curling so beautifully that such things being organic are the real things in our own world that inspire writers to write about unreal ones in theirs. It was simply hard to believe it was real.

If we don't email before the holidays: Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to your and yours.

But not to Lansdale. Have you read the stuff he writes?! Nobody like that should be allowed to celebrate Christmas. :)

I think Joe dress up like Santa and goes out to shoot reindeer.

With the subject matter that freely flows out of Lansdale's mind, I wouldn't put it past him to dress up like Ms. Santa Claus. And do any kind of unmentionable a thing to reindeer. All twelve of them, too, probably.
