It's the blog's 6th birthday, and it's my birthday, too. Long, long ago in a summer much like this one, I was about to leave Austin and grad school for Howard Payne University. Here's the resume I sent out. Those were the days!
Happy Birthday to you, Bill. You haven't changed a whit since that photo was taken. Same steely gaze, same determined jaw, same designer glasses. And thanks for 6 years of great blogging. It's a key part of my daily fix. Glad the hurricane didn't harm you, too.
After reading your blog for more than a year, and seeing you on panels at several conventions, I finally picked up a couple of your books (Of All Sad Worlds and Murder Most Fowl)...really enjoyed them, and will be checking out more of your stuff.
