A Salute to the Drive-In

Drive-in theaters still a main attraction after 75 years -- South Florida Sun-Sentinel.com: "Here's a shout-out to the drive-in, an American icon forever linked to sexy moves, salty popcorn and starry nights.

The outdoor theater turns 75 this year, a geriatric wonder amid today's techno toys offering entertainment at your fingertips.

Somehow, the drive-in survives. Diminished by time but still standing."

My little town, Eden, North Carolina, has a drive-in that does a booming business on weekends(it closes down in the winter).
They're changing though. They used to charge a flat fee per vehicle, but now by person.

Went to the drive-in last night. There's actually one less than a mile from the CN Tower in Toronto.

Thursday is $15.00 a carload, but I think the seatbelt laws have really limited how people you can cram in a car.
