75 today. Doesn't seem possible.
Edd Byrnes - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: "Born Edward Byrne Breitenberger in New York City on 30 July 1933, Edd shared an impoverished and unhappy childhood with brother Vincent and sister Jo-Ann. When Edd was 13, his father died. Edd then dropped his last name in favor of 'Byrnes' based on the name of his maternal grandfather, a New York City fireman."

One of my first crushes. He was the epitome of cool to a ten-twelve year old.
A very happy birthday, Edd. Thank you for sharing your life with your book "Kookie, No More, and audio book "My Casino Caper." I loved them both. You'll always have a very special place in my heart.

I studied Kookie's way of speaking as if it were the Rosetta Stone. I wanted so much to grow up to be the kind of guy who could say "Coolsville," without people rolling their eyes.
Me, too, David, but I fell short. About 1000 miles short. I never even achieved the haircut.
