BBC NEWS | Entertainment | Dion sang 'worst ever cover song': "Celine Dion is responsible for the world's worst cover version, a poll of music experts has decided.
The Canadian star's rendition of the AC/DC track You Shook Me All Night Long was given the dubious honour in the Total Guitar magazine survey."

I guess they've retired Shatner's cover of "Lucy in the Sky," which used to lead lists like this. And nobody but the geezers remember Moms Mabley's "Abraham Martin & John" anymore.
Probably only us geezers even remember Moms Mabley.
I've heard the Mabley recording, and remember her and Pigmeat Markham mostly from lps, though I also remember them faintly from early LAUGH IN.
The Shatner is hard to top, but I'm sure some more thought will beat even the Shat, much less Dion getting mellow with AC/DC.
Fortunately I've never heard (or even heard of) most of the songs in question.
Worst cover versions (besides the Shatner of course):
Diana Ross - Ain't No Mountain High Enough
Ringo Starr - You're Sixteen
Barry Manilow - Let's Hang On
Jeff
I don't know. If you count appearance, Dion dressed as Michael Jackson and singing I'm Bad is a whole new level of creepiness.
"Downtown," by Mrs Miller. Someday we'll have laws against this type of thing.
