Side by Side #7

I loved this book when I read it in 1971. I also liked Rifkin's Ladyfingers from Gold Medal and his western, King Fisher's Road. Plus another good one, McQuaid, a Putnam hardcover that was reprinted by Berkley.

I enjoyed all the same books by Rifkin. I'm glad to see this reprint.

Me, too. I wish he'd done more crime novels.

I've read McQuaid & Ladyfingers and will look out for this one.

Great cover on the older edition but I really love the new cover and the legs on that honey. Definitely one of the best covers HCC has used so far.

My wife and I got divorced over our differences in liquors. She liked those sweet lady drinks. I preferred blondes, brunettes and redheads. ~ crafted by Doc back in the '80s during his Algonquin Round Table wit/Pulp/Noir period for some future novel.
