Intel official: Say goodbye to privacy - Yahoo! News: "WASHINGTON - A top intelligence official says it is time people in the United States changed their definition of privacy.
Privacy no longer can mean anonymity, says Donald Kerr, the principal deputy director of national intelligence. Instead, it should mean that government and businesses properly safeguards people's private communications and financial information."

you know, there's all this talk about the "shadow government." why dont some clever individuals start the "shadow citizenry"? i dont know what they'd do, exactly, but it would give the shadow government something to worry about for a change instead of us worrying about IT all the time. just a thought.
If there were a Shadow Citizenry, it would be a secret, right? So maybe. . . .
Oh dear, poor jj solari has his/her panties all in a bunch now...
Remember this is a story by the always questionable AP
Does anyone see any actual quotes in this AP story?
There are 3 versions of Bill Number S.1927 for the 110th Congress, so you might want to peruse them...
You all might want to take a look at how the Senate Voted and note that twelve sniveling parasites didn't vote...
Privacy is overrated. I'm joining a nudist colony.
And every woman in the state will soon follow.
Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow (citizenry) knows...(diabolical laugh)
