The Associated Press: Kurt Vonnegut Tops in Public's Heart: "'Vonnegut was the American Mark Twain. He even looked liked him. Everybody loved Vonnegut, whereas Norman was a much more controversial figure,' says J. Michael Lennon, the literary executor for Mailer, who died Nov. 10 at age 84."

I can't wait to meet the American Bill Crider.
Yeah. I wonder who that might be.
Is this something like: "Edgar Poe is the American Jack MacLane"?
Who was that Lennon guy? I thought that Vonnegut was the American Kurt Vonnegut.
Mark Twain was the Norwegian Bill Murry.
There was only one Mark Twain and his books are classics. Many are now available online like The Personal Recollections of Joan of Arc
