There's a "book by committee" feel to this list. As a Detroiter, I apologize for Albom. Even his columns are turgid.
I have not read Marley & Me, but I'm glad that a book by a non-celebrity topped the non-fiction list -- it proves you don't need a "platform" to have a non-fiction bestseller
