The Ten Best (and the Ten Worst) Bond Girls

The Ten Best slide show is here. I find these choices hard to disagree with (I especially like one inclusion).

The Ten Worst show is here, and I have to say that I'm seriously upset with the #1, though I had a feeling who it would be. Let me just say that this woman's stunning portrayal of a nuclear physicist would have won her an Oscar if there were any justice or if the members of the so-called Academy of Motion Picture Arts weren't jealous of her abundant . . . talents. Envy is so sad.

And in case you need yet another list, here's one of the Top Ten Deaths in the Bond movies.

I suspect the 10 Best inclusion you liked was Miss Lotte Lenya, and I rather like it as well.
However, the specimen who put Carole Bouquet on the Best list ought to be fed to the piranhas -- her zombiefied performance was the big flaw in the best of the Roger Moores. Maud Adams belongs on the Best List, Jill StJohn, sole genuine redhead, should be moved up near the top. And shouldn't Lois Maxwell be on the Best list as well?

You are, of course, correct about Lotte Lenya. As for the othre comments, I can't really argue with you, especially about Jill St. John.

Most memorable bit part and best/worst character name, even among the rich pickings here ("Chew Mee" in THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN): Francoise Therry

I do have to agree that the absence of the beloved original Miss Moneypenny - who waited for James with those most kissable lips, and presumably other good parts - is a crime and a shame. Particularly when Halle Berry is included. And I'm sorry, but if you're going to include Lotte Lenya as Rosa Kleb then you have to at least mention Grace Jones. As for worst, well maybe there should be a place for Jane Seymour as the virginal Bond girl.

Gotta agree with you & Art about Rosa Klebb.

And I agree with whoever listed Lois Chiles & Lynn-Holly Johnson on the worst.

And of course Denise was robbed.
