WorldNetDaily: No end to gator attacks in Florida: ". . . on the western coast of the Sunshine State, a woman used a handgun to fend off a gator that was attacking her own dog, and was issued a warning citation for hunting without a permit.
Candy Frey of Bradenton, Fla., shows the dog door where she was able to push a 3-foot gator out after it scuffled with her dogs.
Candy Frey says a 3-foot gator confronted her golden retriever at her East Manatee, Fla., home.
She and he daughter were able to push the creature through the dog door of her patio, but she also got her gun and opened fire.
'I was running on so much adrenaline,' Frey, 48, a former U.S. Marine aviation technician, told the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. 'I just freaked out and shot him – boom, boom, boom, boom.'"

Bill, I'll tell you, these gators are organizing! It's us against them!!
Puuuleeeeaaaase! They cited HER and the article said the officer put the gator BACK IN THE LAKE? I mean the gator was pushing through her patio door. She pushed it back out. What was she supposed to do, ask it politely to leave? The officer should've killed it. Well, with any luck the gator will die of "lead poisoning."
Two or three women have died recently from gator attacks, not necessairly in her area but still you'd think they'd kill that gator and give her a pat on the back? That gator is obviously agressive and a danger.
I'm with Hardluck Writer, the gators are organizing. Next thing you know, one or two of them will run for public office in Florida. Probably on the platform of using the elderly Florida residents for free lunchs. Population control and all that? Snort.
Lonnis, are you some of them aren't already in public office?

Her mistake was in pushing the gator out the door. If she'd left it in the house she could have claimed that the beast represented a danger to her and her child but once the critter was outside the danger to human life ended.
