Definitely not as bad as his covers of "Tutti-Frutti" and "Ain't That a Shame."
By having Pat cover songs by black artists, primarily to grab the white dollar, usually resulted in him outselling the originals. But as Little Richard said it also meant that white kids went looking for the original recordings and thus increased his sales. Tutti Frutti indeed Pat. If only you knew what those lyrics were really referring to!Ken.
