Harvey Update

Things are okay here in Alvin so far. I checked the rain gauge, and I've now had 7 inches of rain. I suspect there'll be a lot more over the next several days, but what's happening here is nothing like what's going on farther down the coast. I hope everyone in that area is safe and that there hasn't been too much destruction from the storm.

Please take care, Bill. Local (New Orleans) media is reporting that Texas could get up to 40 inches of rain before Harvey moves on to bring Labor Day felicitation to us!

Happy to hear you're doing all right; you and the VBKs stay safe.

I'm just glad you're OK. From this and the news, it sounds like Harvey isn't doing as much damage as it was expected to do, though it still sounds like a royal mess. Take care of yourself, and I hope the rain stops soon. (If not, send some our way--Oregon--we haven't had any in nigh onto three months.)

Glad you're okay but Harvey is not finished with Texas yet. Take care.
