The '66 and '67 editions, along with Judith Merrill's '65 anthology, were my favorite books from that era.

"I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream” by Harlan Ellison
“Time Considered as a Helix of Semi-Precious Stones” by Samuel R. Delany
“Welcome to the Monkey House” by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.
“A Boy and His Dog” by Harlan Ellison

These get mentioned (along with 7 others) as being highlights. (Oddly, "A Boy and His Dog" just showed up in a post about sci-fi movies you've never seen.) Four of the most amazing stories I have ever read.
