Just recorded Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid on TCM last night. Slim has a great death scene done to Dylan's Knockin On Heavens Door.
I've always been a big fan of Slim.
Soon after he died, one of the cavemen in the "B.C." comic strip visited the dictionary for the definition of "Slim Pickens". Basically it was "A very funny name for a man we all miss very much."
