I have worked with many Bartlebys in my time. I probably was one in at least one job.
Anyone who would spend the time required to do all that is either a genius (which is how I would vote--I love Bartelby) or crazy (or both).
I can't imagine doing it, but I wish I'd had it when I was teaching freshman English.
