Yes, MANY in the late 50's through late 60's - kind of the anchor of television shows in those days. My fave was Bonanza, but Gunsmoke was second, and we never missed it. I watched it with my Dad - on his lap in the early days. Looking back later, I'm quite sure it was not only the longest running Western, but the most well done. AND, that Mission Impossible guy always reminded me of Matt Dillion, until of course I later discovered they were brothers.
