I sat next to a woman at a business meeting about 20 years ago and throughout the (admittedly somewhat dull) meeting, she kept popping the top off a magic marker and taking a deep whiff. "I'm totally addicted to magic marker smell," she confessed, not the slightest bit ashamed.

I like it, too, but I usually don't sniff in public.
