I was only 11 and it really wasn't on my radar--although within a year I was wearing out the grooves on the record (I never did see the movie). Reading about it, however, makes me glad I wasn't older and possibly able to be there: massive crowds, mud, unshaded heat, and lack of bathroom facilities...hmmmm, I'll stick with the record.
I'm sure Jeff's brother has some great stories, but I'm with you, Deb. I'd have been miserable under those conditions. The movie is much more comfortable.
