Most of them I've never seen. But one conspicuous absence was After- M*A*S*H. A tough act to follow, but it just wasn't very good.

I saw an episode or two of that one, Randy, and I agree. Not very good.

Is the person who made this list 25? Certainly not any older as they skipped about 90% of the shows.

The spioffs are listed first:

Maude & The Jeffersons/All in the Family
Lou Grant & Rhoda & Phyllis/The Mary Tyler Moore Show
Angel/Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Fish/Barney Miller
Bronco/Cheyenne
Knots Landing/Dallas
A Different World/The Cosby Show
Green Acres/Petticoat Junction
Benson/Soap
The Bionic Woman/The $6 Million Man

And the tangled skein of how many series were actually spun off from THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW (itself launched from the DANNY THOMAS SHOW), which arguably includes all the CBS rural sitcoms (GRIFFITH being the only one with watchable or better episodes, for the most part).

GOOD TIMES/MAUDE/ALL IN THE FAMILY, to use Jeff's notation system. GRADY and THE SANFORD ARMS/SANFORD AND SON.

AFTER M*A*S*H only mildly worse, on balance, than the last several seasons of M*A*S*H. Built around three of the most limited characters, at least it also had Rosalind Chao.
