Well, not so much the makers of the film, but Allied Artists, that hapless studio, on its last legs by the time of the video release, and the author of the annotations.
Spheeris's documentaries bite. Even with the important footage they contain, in part.
This item got me to checking the status of the 1938 movie "If I Were King" (Ronald Colman, Basil Rathbone) and, low and behold, a commercial DVD has finally been released and I have ordered one! Probably no news to all the savants here. Yet another "unadvertised special" benefit of perusing the Crider College of Exotic Knowledge 8-)

Actually, I haven't seen any of these.
Waiting for "Dark Than Amber" starring Rod Taylor to come out on DVD.

What Jeff said, AMERICAN HOT WAX should be on any list of films not yet released.
It must be the music rights holding that one up.
The Ritz ... good luck scoring that one! And it has an astonishing cast!
Why am I convinced that Roddy MacDowell shark movie was a Mystery Science Theater 3000 episode?
