Ah, for the days when fiction magazines and dramatic radio worked together and not so obcurely...though I suppose THE PARIS REVIEW and NPR still have a partnership. ASTOUNDING was the partner for DIMENSION X...GALAXY for X-1...
ABC still has a website, but hitting the "live" button on this off-the-hour moment just brings up a tone...so unless there's an emergency at ABC or in the larger world I'm not yet aware of...
OK, yeah, there's a top of the hour button here for ABC: http://abcnewsradioonline.com/
I simply don't listen to any of the ABC Radio affiliates around here...and I also let Pacifica slip my mind (if that isn't also categorizable as specialized), since no one in Philadelphia is clearing Pacifica now (the Temple University jazz station dropped them after they began having Mumia Abu-Jamal as a regular correspondent...Temple is mostly publicly funded these years, is in fact the closest thing to a public university in Philly, and thus under even more pressure than the other big schools).
NBC has an even more token minute hourly newscast...which, like the CBS News digest, is offered under the Westwood One banner (the folks who initially bought Mutual, then NBC Radio and then were bought by CBS, which has since spun it off...something called DialGlobal had bought most of the Westwood One properties over the years and contracts with CBS and NBC and have now, after hitting a rough patch, to dust off the Westwood One name for themselves).

Of course, these days, only NPR and CBS even have radio news bureaus from the "unspecialized" networks...
