But, then, THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES the original was a campy mess, and not in a remotely good way. The atrocity is compounded when a good series is messed over as THE AVENGERS was, or even an intermittently decent series such as THE MOD SQUAD gets such a half-assed film treatment (why am I reminded of THE NUDE BOMB?). STAR TREK: THE MOTIONLESS PICTURE could stand in this company...LOST IN SPACE was actually a bit of an improvement over most of its series.
Contrast, in rare counterexample, the film THE FUGITIVE.

You're probably talking about the only one I've seen, THE WILD WILD WEST, and yes it was terrible.
No, I missed that one. I saw THE AVENGERS, much to my sorrow.
I'm with Randy. WILD WILD WEST was beyond terrible. It was abominable. It made MARS ATTACKS! look funny. Even Salma Hayek couldn't save it.

Oy. I've seen more of these than I care to admit. And yeah, they were all pretty bad.
Heath is a master of understatement.

Sadly, as they almost note themselves, the two ROCKY AND BULLWINKLE films, despite their casts, were as dire (and traducing) as nearly any of these.
I managed to miss those, too, Todd. And I'm glad.
