I've only read two of them, and can't remember the endings.
I read one. All I recall at the end is Gatsby getting shot, and I remember the Redford version.
Always going to be personal preference, but I continue to think the grandest and best book ending is the Credo in Thomas Woolfe's "You Can't Go Home Again".
That's a great one, all right.
