My favorite bit of GATSBY trivia is that Nick finds Gatsby's Rules for Living scribbled in the back pages of HOPLALONG CASSIDY, which had not yet been published at the time referred to in the book!
There are folks who latch onto trivia like this and let it ruin their fun, but this in no way diminishes my enjoyment of a great novel.
