Bummer. We've seen him in concert (Kenny Vance & the Planetones) several times and they are great. Unlike Jay Black he can still effortlessly hit the high notes.

They used his song "Looking for An Echo" as the inspiration for a movie of the same name, ;argely filmed here in Bay Ridge, with Armand Assante. Check it out.

Diane Venora's apartment building in the movie is just a few blocks up the street from us. A little further up is the building where Maximilian Schell supposedly lived in LITTLE ODESSA. And of course the scene where John Travolta told "Stephanie" "all about the bridge" is just before the Verrazano Bridge.

What a sad story. My heart goes out to him and all the others who've list cherished, irreplaceable mementos because if Sandy. Everyday items can be replaced (eventually), but special items you've acquired over a lifetime...never.
