Wonderful article. I don't think the guy wrote a bad sentence, ever. His comment on humour is interesting considering that his THE DIAMOND BIKINI is one of the funniest novel I've ever read. And if you have not done it already, check out Francois Truffaut's FINALLY SUNDAY. It's based on THE LONG SATURDAY NIGHT, but Truffaut turned into a humourous Hitchcock pastiche. It will make you grin from ear to ear.
