The city hall in The Simpsons is actually the Adams Library in Chelmsford, Massachusetts -- my home towm. The library was added to years after local-boy Keith Wilder had it immortalized in Springfield, USA, so it looks a bit different now.
Oddly enough I knew about Tatouine being in Tunisia. It was featured int he first season of The Amazing Race.
