When I worked in an elementary school library, we used to read WHY MOSQUITOS BUZZ IN PEOPLES' EARS when we covered folk tales. The drawing of the mother owl with her dead baby always brought tears to their eyes--and mine.

Loved their artwork, especially on the ACE SF Specials line edited by Terry Carr.
