Though personally, I'm not an ecstatic fan of the band RUSH, they do have a great history, huge fan base, and have without a doubt the greatest Rock & Roll drummer in Neil Peart. Year after year, it's evident this "so-called" Hall of Fame has something against the group.

It's called The "ROCK and ROLL" Hall of Fame!!! UGH
Lot of pop and blues, not a lot of what I'd call serious rock n' roll.
Nothing wrong with the Donna Summer Beasties or the Chili Peppers but they will be joining a list without the Ohio Players, The Replacements, or X
I'd vote for Donovan and Laura Nyro.
