BBC News: A few million virtual monkeys are close to re-creating the complete works of Shakespeare by randomly mashing keys on virtual typewriters.
A running total of how well they are doing shows that the re-creation is 99.990% complete.
The first single work to be completed was the poem A Lover's Complaint.

Yeah, but these are virtual monkeys. Real monkeys would spend all their time flinging their feces and breaking typewriters and/or computers.
Sadly, it only took four actual monkeys a week to come up with my collected works.

And here I thought I was the only one (a review of one of my first two books on amazon (repeated twice) says a monkey could write better. How do you argue with that? I sure can't.
Now that it puts me up (or down) there with Billy boy ... it doesn't hurt so much ...
