BBC News: "John Walker, one of the founders of 1960s group The Walker Brothers, has died at the age of 67.
His spokeswoman said Mr Walker died on Saturday at his Los Angeles home after a six-month battle with liver cancer.
The band was formed when three unrelated US musicians - Scott Engel, John Maus and Gary Leeds - adopted the Walker Brothers name in 1964.
Their biggest hits included the songs Make It Easy On Yourself and The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine (Any More)."

Well, the Righteous Brothers were popular at the time--perhaps that's where the "Brothers" part comes in--they had the same blue-eyed soul sound.
Love "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore"--wall of sound, even if Phil Spector didn't produce it.
They also did the title track to DEADLIER THAN THE MALE,one of the most enjoyable Bond rip-offs.
The Springfields were perhaps another influence, Deb...the Walker Bros. being perhaps most unusual in being an American band who constituted themselves in Britain.
As opposed to being a Yank spark for an otherwise Brit band (the JH Experience, the Pretenders).
