I didn't hear till the hourly NPR newscast, and it didn't cheer me any.
Brilliant man, great musician.
I hadn't realized until I read one of the obituaries that he had a mystery novel (Brits called it a "thriller") published at 19.
Jeff
I hadn't heard about this (there seems to be a lot of Jeff Conaway grief, but not so much for GSH). I loved "Livin' in a Bottle." Didn't realize he was so young.
A fine artist whose work is still very much worth listening to.
