Since moving to Arizona, I've had a saying: Even dumber than Texas!

So what kind of sidearm will you be carrying?

Since no training will be required, my catch phrase will be, "Be careful. I have a gun, and I don't know how to use it!". By the way, I'll be carrying my old Roy Rogers, repeat action, six shooters with built-in sound effects.

It would have been cooler if they had required hip holsters and cowboy hats...

Wow Seepy, you have those? Wow.

Seepy has his cowboy hat that he wears everyday, but of course, these days cowboy hats are made in China. ;-)

My father is threatening to get a gun now! Apparently the next law they're considering in Arizona will allow police to stop anyone they want to and demand to see a Green Card or proof of citizenship.

That law has recently been passed, but I do think they are required to first have some flimsy or superficial reason for suspecting you of being an illegal alien. Watch out Superman and Doctor Who!

Seems to me you could carry a weapon openly in Arizona before.

You could open carry in Arizona but needed a permit for concealed carry. Stand in Phoenix and throw a rock in the air and it will land on something gun-related. A store, a manufacturer, an instructor, etc.
