Mrs. Seepy Benton and I notice that place every time we head down the road from Phoenix to Tuscon. I had no idea it was so huge! However, I did always suspect that if we entered it, we would surely encounter some of the good space folks from "Close Encounters of the Third Kind."

Nearby is the Pinal Airpark, where Beechcraft Raytheon stores all the Starship 2000 aircraft they buy back from owners prior to destroying them (the planes, not the owners).

The Starship is likely still the most advanced general aviation aircraft ever built, and it started production in 1986. I think it's certainly the most beautiful.
