I find this film fascinating, but a bit...slow.
I still like it, even though it's not the greatest movie...
9 is about the right age. Isaac Asimove particularly resented the stage Brooklynite.
Or even Asimov. He also resented misspellings of his name.
Since I was 9 and had never been out of Texas, I loved the stage Brooklynite.
Nancy Wilson had a nice pop-jazz song which stole its title.
Two years later, Jerry Lewis would've had a lock on the role.
A bit earlier than Wilson, actually. Dinah Washington and Nat King Cole recorded it...Washington's, obviously, was the version I was thinking of:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYq3Bb1YTjk(hit link on my name)
A nice version, all right.
