Somehow, even with Shane Black I do not high hopes. I do hope I am wrong.
Isn't it too bad that we all seem to hear these announcements for new films, ones that should have us excited and impatient, but instead we only express concern that the film will be a mess? I'm trying to remember the last one that was announced and lived up to expectations.
As Black is an admirer of classic paperback art, I wonder whether he will get Jim Bama involved in the art direction and promotion, as he did with Bob McGinnis in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. And, hey, it couldn't possibly be worse than that 1975 George Pal fiasco with Ron Ely, could it? Art Scott

Have no fear, the Man of Bronze is here!
