I got a couple of Don Winslow's Neal Carey books in paperback, though I probably have them already. I didn't want to take the chance that I didn't, however. Picked up a hardcover of Flynn's World by Gregory Macdonald. It must have slipped under my radar when it was originally published.

I read Flynn's World when it first came out, and was somewhat disappointed.
Thought the panels at Apollocon that I caught you on went well! (Publishing 101 & SF: Then & Now)
Thanks, Howard. I was disappointed in Mcdonald's later novels, too, but I'm willing to give this one a try.
Scott can fall into a pile of grass clippings and come up with a gem. I'm paraphrasing. Magnet doesn’t quite cover it.
