How much you want to bet the people who put this together are in their 20s, maybe 30s.
I agree "Who's on first?" should have been first. The Brits are great at humour, but I think Monty Python are overrated. No Benny Hill (an innovator in TV comedy), no Pete and Dud. No Benny Hill and Pete and Dud, no Monty Python. Hell, Kovacs should rate higher than Python. Even though they adapted a lot of Vaudeville and OTR to the new medium* Berle, Benny, Skeleton, etc were a lot funnier than Python and SNL. The problem with SNL is you had to sit through a lot of dreck for the occasional gem. I think the funniest thing SLN did was a commercial spoof of the Nike ads, black and white pan through the Heaven's Gate house showing room after room of the suicide dead under blankets on bunk beds with the Nikes sticking out. Tag line: KEDS. The offical shoe of level-headed Christians.

There isnt much on the list that I wanted to see (I'm old and didnt want to see it the first time around) but the Sid Caesar material was great, and of course the Burnett Gone with the Wind sketch is no question in the top 50....

Seems to me most, if not all, these kinds of lists are put together by young whippersnappers.
Retitled to: 50 Greatest Comedy Sketches of all Time That Were Available Online and Would Not Get Us in Legal Trouble.

Who's On First is one of the most annoying bits I've ever heard, always has been.
The dead parrot however, is great.
But, there was a lot more from the Carol Burnett show that should have been on there. Tim Conway and Harvey Korman were brilliant together.
Actually, how is Tim Conway not on the list at all?
