A little while ago I heard that Ike Turner died at the age of 76. There's gotta be a punch line in there somewhere.
Punch, or kick, or backhanded slap line. I feel rather as I did when Miles Davis died. But at least almost no one I run across seems think that Turner's abusive behavior was part of his Cool.
