Didn't Pocket Books publish those novels around the time Pinnacle was going great guns with the Executioner and their other action series? In a sense, in retrospect, it may have been the last surge of Pulp fiction.
Bill: I actually owned two of these titles, and I'll tell you right now, I bought 'em for the scantily clad ladies on the covers. I was just a young lad at the time and, well, cheap thrills were hard to come by, so...

There must have been a hundred of those "men's adventure" series in the '70s and '80s, all right. Ah, the good old days.
