Happy Birthday, Jim. Or as we like to think of you, Sheriff Dan Rhodes.
Well, he'll always be Rockford and Maverick, if not the sheriff.
Or Nichols, for that handful of us who remember that show (I remember the show because I developed my first screen crush on Margot Kidder who played a barmaid). Currently he can be seen in a movie called The Ultimate Gift...if you can find it that is.
I haven't even heard of that movie until now, but I do remember Nichols.
...and I don't even hate MARLOWE. Even if it did get too close to being SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL MARLOWE. (Margot Kidder was in NICHOLS...another reason to seek it out, somehow.)
I actually like Marlowe, though Vince Keenan says he couldn't watch it. I'll bet he didn't get to the part with Rita Moreno. Too bad for Vince. Anyway, though it's a product of its era for sure, it's still fun (for some of us).
