They still show Oh, Susanna! on one of our cable channels. Happy Birthday, Gale!
I wish we got that channel. It would be fun to see that show again.
Alas, she was an alcoholic for years. I saw her on a show about 25 years back talking about a comeback. I don't think it ever happened. She was a real doll at one time, though.
She has a nice website, and I hope she's clean and sober now.
She is, and has been for 20 years according to her web site.

Eighty-five today. My Little Margie. The Gale Storm Show (aka Oh, Susanna). And a few hit records, too, including "Dark Moon." Those were the days.
