No Comment Department

The Graying of Naughty - New York Times: "The mature-woman genre represents one of the fastest growing areas of video pornography, say leading distributors and retailers, and next month it will be inaugurated as a category at the AVN Awards, the Oscars of the skin trade."

I don't know whether to be happy or depressed but since the later is more in keeping with my personality, I choose that. And how do they define mature woman? If you say, over 35, I am depressed.

Well, the article does mention "over 35," I think, but the woman featured in the story is 50.

FWIW, there has been quite a niche market for middle-aged women in porn for quite some time...a former colleague at a magazine job, who had previously worked at the Philadelphia area's best independent bookstore (now gone), and who would occasionally tend the porn mag racks they maintained in an alcove, noted that she was mildly heartened that no matter what a woman looked like, there was clearly a place for her in the fantasies of at least some part of the paying public.
