Sounds promising.

I'd rather see Carol Burnett's "Mildred Fierce," with Harvey Korman as "Monty Slick."

Will she be doing the old Jack Carson part?

I wonder if this will be a remake of the Joan Crawford movie or a faithful adaptation of Cain's book, which is very interesting and very different from the movie, with no murder and hardly a crime/mystery novel at all--more a sort of domestic drama about a self-made woman and her ungrateful daughter.

I agree, it's a NICE film with Joan Crawford but it's not really a murder story at all - I was surprised that they noted it was a Cain book!
Good film though.
