This one is on my juke box as it was one of the first 45s I tracked down after I bought the juke box. Honky Tonk Angels brings back memories of playing blue ball in the pool room in The Pas, Manitoba. Every song on the Wurlitzer was C%W: Lefty Frizzell, Hank Snow, Wilf Carter, Hank Williams, Roy Acuff, et al. Down the street in the Paris Cafe was where you got Eddie Fisher, Patti Page, Johnny Ray, Georgia Gibbs, Rosemary Clooney, Tony Bennett and that crowd so I got exposed to both types while growing up.

The radio in my home was tuned to stations by both groups, so I got 'em all in my head. They've never left.

This title by Kitty Wells is on the soundtrack of Rob Zombie's feature film "The Devil's Rejects", a violent but powerful movie set in Tx, along with other rock and country classics as well as Terry Reid's fine compositions.
