Meanwhile in Southern California it's 96 degrees (at 2:50 p.m.), just over half way through April. Gonna be hotter tomorrow. Plants are crisp. Water rationing begins soon. Electric brownouts from spiking A/C use expected tomorrow and Wednesday.

Still, I wouldn't trade our weather for your summer there, Bill!
